Hong Kong Office Relocation

Commercial Imperative ITV Hong Kong Office was expanding and with their current lease expiring, there was a requirement to seek the right space within the right budget. There was no corporate real estate/facilities for ITV in HK and thus it would have been a distraction for ITV HK office to manage their own relocation, coupled with year end closing and the upcoming Chinese New Year holidays. The project was also met with further time constraints when the first approved option fell through and the site selection went back to the drawing board.

Our Role We were engaged as their end to end program management to project manage the office relocation project from site selection, option analysis, financial justifications, project procurement, design, construction to full delivery of the office fit-out. We also assisted to coordinate all graphics with ITV UK, the move and day one opening welcome activities as well as the work to clean up and hand back the existing space. Regular rigour was set up in reporting the status back to local HK and London stakeholders.

The Result Project was successfully completed with client moved in on schedule and 17% under budget. This was achieved with the close monitor of the local design & build contractor on site progress and maintaining good communication frequency with the stakeholders.
