  Commercial Imperative
  • Having recently supported Honeywell in the selection and appointment of a real estate broker in the EMEA region, the Real Estate Group would like to haveour continuous support of Honeywell in a similar capacity in both the Americas and the APAC region, with a desire to replicate the process followed in the EMEA region as much as possible and makes sense for the other two regions. This is intended to drive consistency and processed approach in all regions.
  Our Role
  • Upon understanding the current needs of Honeywell in APAC, we assisted Honeywell on a consistent selection process and appointment of a preferred supplier. We also revamped the performance measures processes and templates to heighten the robustness and effectiveness.
  The Result
  • Following a competitive tendering exercise, Cushman & Wakefield was selected as preferred supplier in APAC with emphasis on resources focused on transition from previous incumbent and a set of robust performance measures in line with Honeywell’s commercial objectives.

  Commercial Imperative
  • In view of Honeywell’s APAC expansion plans, there is a need to select a regional (China based) Project Management consulting partner, to complement the lean PM in-house team so they can focus on more strategic planning works. We were selected to help manage the bid process, working closely with Honeywell’s in-house Procurement team. This is intended to ensure value add in terms of an end user perspective approach in the process.
  Our Role
  • Upon understanding the current and future project load of Honeywell in APAC, we assisted Honeywell in crafting the bid process and the eventual appointment of the PM consultant firm based in Shanghai. Similar process template were being referenced from EMEA region to ensure adherence to Honeywell internal guidelines and policies. We helped to customise them for APAC relevance, adding a scoring matrix for supplier performance measurement tied to bonus/penalty.
  The Result
  • Following a rigorous tendering exercise, Mortenson China was selected as the preferred partner given Honeywell’s focus on China based projects. Honeywell decided to utilise in-house or separate external resources for other regional projects when the need arises.
